We live in a cosy, sunny apartement in downtown Nice (walking distance from beaches). Three bedrooms (two queen-size beds, two single beds), two full bathrooms (washing machine+dryer), a living room, a dining room, a fully equiped kitchen (oven, microwave, dish-washer, two sinks, a frige/ freezer ...). Two large balconies (outside dining) with plants (watering needed once a week).
3 TVs (cable with English channels), 2 DVDs and 2 VCRs (hundreds of movies), 2 Playstations, 3 computers (PC) with DSL, HiFi (lots of CDs). Lots of books, both in English and in French. A numeric piano.
Comfortable up to six people. Children/ seniors welcome.
Nice is ... nice! Well situated between Monaco and Cannes, 15 miles away from Italian Riviera,one hour driving distance from Provence (Aix), this middle-sized city is the capital of 'La Cote d'Azur'.
A good compromise between cultural activities (museums: Musée Chagall, Musée Matisse, Museum of Modern Art, Musée d'Art Naïf Cheret, Fondation Maeght in Saint-Paul-de-Vence/ architectural marvels/ Opéras/ botanical gardens and much more!), shopping opportunities, entertainement (numerous theaters/ casinos/ entertainement parks) and 'farniente' on the sun-warmed beaches (Promenade des Anglais), Nice also provides a wide array of outdoor activies for sport/ nature-lovers (hiking, rock climbing, horse riding, via ferrata, diving, boating, tennis, golfing, windsurf, swimming ...).
Gourmets and Mediterranean cuisine connoisseurs will be delighted by the incredible variety of restaurants available in Nice (French/ Asian/ Italian cuisines).
We have 2 Renault Twingo cars (manual shift) with private park places available.

We are a family of four: Michel (51) is an entertainement park manager, Stephanie (38) is a nurse, Axelle (18) is a student and David (14) is a highschooler and plays the piano.
We are avid readers and movie-goers, and we love hiking and skiing.
We are seasonned travellers and have succesfully swapped our home last summer with a Californian family. It was great experience for both parties (references available).
We have two nice cats but they have their own vacations so you won't have to care about them!
We are non smokers and smoking is restricted to balconies.
Our destinations : for summer 2005 : New York ( manhattan ) or London ( max half an hour from city center by tub!). Open to all offers for 2006, tempt us!
