Our home is located in a quiet cul-de-sac backing onto Field of Mars reserve so is surrounded by tall gums and birds. The reserve runs into the Lane Cove National Park and is accessible by board walks at the end of the street (it meets the great North Walk) There are 20 kids in the street, and is one of those streets that is very friendly and cars drive slowly knowing there are always kids in the street.
Gladesville is 9km from the city - 15 mins in non-peak hour - up to an hour by car in peak hour. We have a city bus at the end of the street that runs every 7mins to 30mins (depending on the time of the day) which will get you to the heart of Sydney City in 20mins.
The house's best feature is its verandah and backyard that can be viewed from the kitchen. The verandah is large and covered and has a lovely leafy very private outlook. You'll just love having the morning coffee and brekky out there. The kids (and dog?)will love the cubby and large secure back yard.
The kitchen is newly renovated, there are timber floorboards throughout the house. 3 bedrooms - 1 queen, 1 double & 1 single as well as a 2 person sofa bed are available.
The computer complete with ADSL/ wireless internet available. Piano. 2 tv areas. DVD, Stereo, airconditioning. Olympic pool/ Aquatic centre less than 1km away. Local shops and restaurants.
